Building a launch-ready skincare brand from zero presence to a structured social media engine in six months

We partnered with Me:vidual, a German DTC skincare brand, to build their entire social media presence from scratch and introduce a first of its kind at home, AI powered skincare device to the market. Over six months, we turned a blank canvas and limited assets into a cohesive brand presence, consistent content engine, and strong early awareness across Meta.


Brand and challenge

Me:vidual is a beauty and health brand based in Germany that developed a unique device for creating customized skincare products at home using ingredients and AI driven recommendations. The product was the first of its kind in the market and the company planned to launch roughly one month after the collaboration started.


When we joined, Me:vidual had no social media channels or paid campaigns in place. Our team inherited only a brand guideline and a few 3D renders, with no clear direction for social media branding or launch strategy. A previous social media partner had produced generic, off brand content, and the founders wanted something visually distinct, editorial, and luxurious to match the innovation of the product.


Strategy

The agreed focus for the first six months was to build a cohesive brand presence, create awareness around the new category, and grow an engaged audience in the German market. Primary KPIs included reach, engagement rate, and follower growth, with website signups and leads as secondary goals as the launch got closer.


The strategy followed a phased approach. First, our team defined the visual language and brand voice for social, then focused on awareness and follower growth. From there, campaigns gradually shifted toward lead generation and driving traffic for launch readiness. The core services included social media management, Meta advertising, UGC creator coordination, and end to end translation of all content into German to stay native to the target audience.


Execution

The primary audience consisted of German consumers aged 22 to 40 who care about skincare, health, and personalized, tech enabled solutions in their daily routines. Content leaned into editorial visuals and educational storytelling to explain the device, the benefits of customization, and the science behind ingredients in a way that still felt premium and aspirational.


We managed Instagram and Facebook, publishing around five posts per week on Meta to keep a high yet sustainable cadence. Campaigns ran continuously for follower growth, with dedicated periods each month focused on lead generation. Behind the scenes, our team built structured content calendars, weekly check ins, and monthly performance reports, which gave the client clear visibility into what was live, what was planned, and how the numbers were moving.


Despite operational roadblocks outside the marketing scope including repeated delays in the product launch, changes to the device design after assets were shot, and missed follow-ups on highly qualified leads and UGC collaborations the we kept the content and campaigns running, maintaining consistency and brand quality throughout the engagement.


Results

Over the six month period, Me:vidual’s Meta presence went from zero to a recognizable, structured brand. The accounts reached around 450,000 people, generated approximately 40,000 content interactions, and drove close to 10,000 link clicks, while growing the audience to roughly 1,000 followers in a highly specific niche. Engagement levels showed that the editorial and educational content resonated strongly, even before the product officially launched.


Beyond the numbers, the project established a clear creative direction and branded visual system that Me:vidual could carry forward into future campaigns and markets. Internally, workflows became smoother on the marketing side thanks to consistent calendars, translations, and reporting, which reduced friction around approvals and alignment.

What this project showed

For us, this case reinforced how critical a systematic approach and clear, ongoing communication are when launching something entirely new. Even with shifting timelines, product changes, and external constraints, a structured growth system around content, paid media, and reporting can still build real momentum and set the foundation for future revenue once operations catch up.
